All the drama in the Classy Ladies and Lucky Strikes match-up for the Armadillo League title was wiped out early as the Ladies went on to a big 16 to 4 triumph.
Sharon Gibson tops all bowlers
Sharon Gibson won the top prize of $100 in last week’s American Airlines Tournament. Gibson had a 724 handicap series to edge out Miles Smith and his 721. Smith won $70 for his effort.

A 60-strong team will represent Bermuda at the CAC Games next month in Puerto Rico.
Matthews and Roberts win bronze medals in CAC Games
Damien Matthews picked up a bronze medal in ten pin bowling on Monday. Matthews edged out fellow Bermudian Delmont Tucker for the podium.Ross Roberts added Bermuda's second medal with a bronze in the 50m shooting.
Hammerheads and Lion Fish keep winning
Both Lion Fish and Hammerhead Sharks won 4-0 to keep pace with each other at the top of the league. Lion Fish reeled in Swordfish 4-0 while Sharks fired up Hogfish by the same score.

Ray flying high American Airlines Tournament
Gloria Ray earned $92 for being the top scorer in the Americans Airline Tournament. Ray rolled a 700 to edge Shane Robinson’s 689. Robinson picked up $75 for his effort.
Carroll tops AA bowlers
Robyn Carroll rolled up a $125 in prize money in the American Airlines Tournament being held at Warwick Lanes.

Fireballs gets off to blazing hot start with 8-1 victory
One of the hottest teams in the East End Winter League proved to be Fireballs who opened the season with an 8-1 victory over Here We Come. Also tied atop of the standings is TLC and Spare Collector.

Tucker tops two leagues
Troublemakers managed to hold on to their lead in spite of losing 12 to eight to Strikers. Both Gang in Blue and Activators gained ground in the Mixed Majors league — which is typically one of Bermuda’s most wide-open leagues.

Patrice Tucker rolls 700 series
After jumping out to a 17-1 record, Spare Collectors have fallen back to within striking distance of the pack. The first place team has lost the last two weeks, with TLC slipping past them 5-4 in Week Four.

Overseas competitors fly in for Bermuda Open
The Bermuda Open Tenpin Classic tournament takes place at Warwick Lanes November 6 and 7. This is a scratch tournament that replaces the PBA that Bermuda hosted for 14 years.
Snipers douse Fireballs
Greame Furbert led all bowlers with a 604 series thanks to rolling games of 216 and 214. Wendell Wilson had the third high game for a man with a 211. Elliot Douglas (547) and Ronnie Dimapilis (538) had the second and third high series respectively.
Richardson leads the way in Continental League
Cubs kept the momentum going with a 20-10 triumph over The Invaders, which helped increase their lead in the Freisenbruch-Mayer Continental League.
