A 24-year old woman denied several charges in Magistrates’ Court this morning, which stem from an incident at the LF Wade International Airport on May 9 this year.
Shellicia McKenzie-Simons of Pembroke is accused of failing to comply when directed by a Customs Officer and an alternative charge of obstructing a Customs Officer from exercising office.
Ms McKenzie-Simons also denied escaping lawful custody, assaulting a Customs Officer and assaulting a Police Officer.
Represented by Phil Perinchief, she will stand trial on August 21. Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner granted the woman $2000 bail.
