Brothers deny drugs charges
A pair of brothers who denied drug charges and possessing cash gained through criminal conduct were each granted bail today in Magistrates’ Court.
Marcello Moniz, 31, and Matice Moniz, 38, both of Warwick were charged with possessing .34g of cannabis on May 16, 2013 and possessing $15,000 in cash allegedly gained through criminal conduct between a date unknown and May 18, 2013.
Marcello Moniz was further charged with possessing 6.38g of cocaine on May 16, 2013.
Represented by Saul Dismont, the men were granted bail by Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner and will have their case heard on August 25 this year.
