Nicki Minaj’s newest venture — single servings of Moscato wine — is now available in Bermuda.

Myx Fusions Moscato is part-owned by the rapper and TV producer Mona Scott-Young, who rose to fame through the reality series Love and Hip Hop.

The sparkling wine came to Bermuda just weeks ago and last week, Minaj posted a picture of it on her Instagram page and said: “Great News! Myx Fusions is now available in the beautiful island of Bermuda. Stay tuned to their twitter page as they will be tweeting out a few Bermuda locations soon.”

Janson Cross is the man bringing the brand to Bermuda.

“There is a natural curiosity for Myx Fusions Moscato because of its affiliation with Nicki Minaj and Mona Scott Young.

“The pretty cobalt blue bottle has been featured in several music videos and people are very interested in tasting it to see if it does live up to the buzz.”

Speaking on Minaj and Ms Scott-Young, Mr Cross said: “These two business women’s goal was to change the way consumers drank wine.

“If you look at the design of the bottle, it is very sleek and elegant.  Now, most consumers would rather drink it right from the bottle versus pouring it into a glass.”

Mr Cross said the wine will be very popular with the ladies in Bermuda but said everyone will enjoy the refreshing, not too sweet, taste.

“There are three flavours — the original, peach and coconut.  What I have found so far is that one day the peach may be your favourite, the next day it’s the original and then the next day it is the coconut.

“It is very hard to say which one is the best so you have to try all three multiple times before you can make that decision.”

Myx will be sold in various stores that sell wine and liquor islandwide. It is available for $16.50 in a four-pack.

A launch party is being planned for the end of the month.
