Saltus students create bracelets for St Baldrick's
Saltus Upper Primary students began their St Baldrick’s week by making rainbow loom bracelets on Monday.
St Baldrick's Foundation is a childhood cancer charity funding research to help find cures for children with cancer. The Foundation raises money for childhood cancer research primarily through head-shaving events.
There are more than 70 Saltus shavees this year, which includes both parents and students.
So far the Saltus shavees have raised $97,057 towards their goal of $120,000.
Last year the school raised $130,718.
The head shaving will take place on Friday.
Today, 165 upper primary students took part in the ‘Rainbow Loom Lunch’.
BAA is also doing a St Baldrick’s event on Friday.
