KPMG in Bermuda has announced its sponsorship of the 2014 ITF Junior Circuit Tournament this Sunday at the W.E.R. Joell Tennis Stadium.
Now in its 11th year, the tournament has become one of the most important components of the Bermuda Lawn Tennis Association’s Development Programme, offering young Bermudians the opportunity to test their skills against some of the world’s best juniors in front of home audience.
“Participation in organized sport helps our young people develop positive character traits and life values, by emphasizing the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship & perseverance,” said Neil Patterson, Chairman of KPMG in Bermuda in a press release.
“KPMG in Bermuda is proud to support Bermuda’s rising tennis stars through our donation to the BLTA’s 11th ITF Junior Circuit Tournament.”
The BLTA invites the public to come to watch Bermuda’s young tennis athletes rally against the world’s elite with the ceremony starting at 4pm.
The event is free, and those who would like to attend should enter from Cedar Avenue.
