A 17-year-old Sandys man who admitted possessing cocaine earlier this year will learn his fate later this summer.
Crown counsel Karen King told Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner that on January 25, police searched a number of men on the corner of Elliot and Court Streets.
When they searched Tyler Christopher, they observed something fall from his stocking cap as he removed it from his head.
It was discovered to be a twist of paper containing a rock-like substance, later analysed to be 0.3 grammes of cocaine.
Lawyer Kae Palacio asked that Christopher be sentenced on July 25, when he is due to appear to be sentenced for two other crimes.
Mr. Warner agreed, granting the man $2,000 bail.
