The Bermudian Equestrian Federation (BEF) held their annual prize giving ceremony on Saturday at the Hamilton Princess.
Winners were announced for 37 different categories based on points accumulated throughout the 2013-2014 season.
The winners included:
• Inwood Stables, who took home the Stable Award for overall points accumulated from all competitors placing first to fourth, Elka Gibbs, who won the President’s Award, recognizing her as the person most valuable.
• Elka Gibbs, who won the President’s Choice award for being the person most valuable to the BEF President throughout the year.
• Mary Frances Gaglio, who won the Coaches Award, given to the coach who accumulates the most points from their Junior Competitors placing first to tenth.
• Khaleb Tota’s horse Hey Dude, who won both the China Doll Trophy for most points by a junior in show jumping on the same horse, and the Jenerations Debut trophy for the horse with the most points accumulated when placing first to tenth.
• Philip Correia’s horse Emerson, who won the Champion Horse Jumper in both the H3 and H4 classes, as well as the Campbell Wilkinson Trophy for results accumulated in the BHPA Spring and Fall Shows as well as the Agricultural Exhibition, and the Little Orvy Trophy, awarded to the most consistent horse.
