It is 25 years since the Tiananmen Square protests of June 4th, 1989, and the deadly confrontation which followed between pro-democracy demonstrators and the Chinese military (commonly known as the Tiananmen Square Massacre).
Bermudian Tony Brannon wrote and recorded this song about the incident at the time, featuring Andy Newmark on drums, Canadian Kenny Geatros on guitar, Victor Chambray on vocals, and Brannon on organ and bass. Ian Marshall was the engineer and it was recorded at Bermuda Sound Studios (on the corner of Shelton Road).
