A passing container ship diverted into Bermuda at the start of this week to drop off a sick sailor.
The second engineer had fallen ill as the vessel, Warnow, made her way from Spain to Houston.
The ship pulled into Five Fathom Hole at around 4pm on Monday when the seaman was transferred to the waiting pilot boat.
He was then brought into St George’s to a waiting ambulance and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
The Warnow then continued on her way to the US with her cargo of heavy goods and a giant wind turbine.
Elsewhere this week, there are the usual cruise callers of the Norwegian Breakaway and the Summit today in Dockyard.
The Bermuda Islander heads into Hamilton tomorrow at her usual docking time of around 6:30am.
The Oleander arrives on Sunday afternoon with a cargo that includes cars, a truck and a boat.
Last weekend St George played host to the STS Lord Nelson training ship and her crew of young sailors as they neared the end of their round the world trip.
This Sunday the West End will play host to just the Norwegian Dawn and her 2,500 passengers.
