Described as ‘The Beatles incarnate’, American English are to take us on a journey throughout The Beatles’ catalogue from the early Ed Sullivan days right up to their final years together.
The group is made up of not four, but five Beatles including producer George Martin who was known as “the fifth Beatle”.
Frank Canino performs as John Lennon, Eric Michaels as Paul McCartney, James Paul Lynch as George Harrison, Tom Gable as Ringo Starr and Ken Zemanek as George Martin. It is a timely concert — they are performing
during the 50th anniversary month of The Beatles’ first-ever appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show which rocketed them to fame in the US.
Hailing from Illinois, American English made the international scene in Tokyo where they caused “American English Mania”. Then, their international career took off. The original Beatles producer Sam Leach saw them and called them “The Beatles incarnate” and took them on a historical tour of the Fab Four starting at the famed Cavern Club.
American English perform at the Fairmont Southampton Resort on Friday, February 28 at 8pm and on Saturday, March 1 at 8:30pm. Tickets are $70 for adults or $25 for children and are available from bdatix.bm.
