Charity walk to help children

The Onionpatch Academy will be conducting its second annual Walk-A-Thon fundraiser on Saturday, April 12 at the Arboretum Park.

The event starts at 10am when students, family and friends will walk around the park. 

Families can enjoy a healthy lunch and then let the kids work off their
excess energy by playing in the park. 

The money raised will be used for two main purposes – Educational supplies such as puzzles, blocks,  and also outdoor play equipment. Registration fee for the walk-a-thon is $20 for adults and $10 for children. This includes a goodie bag and a healthy lunch. 

Each child will be given a pledge sheet with 26 statements. 

Each statement is worth $2 and one worth $10 with each sheet totaling $60.

 All are welcome to join the walk-a-thon.
