A 29-year-old man appeared in court today charged with stealing more than $100,000 in goods from various homes including one jewellery haul of $43,000.
Steven O’Neil was charged with entering ten homes in Paget, Smith’s, Warwick and Southampton as a trespasser between January 7 and March 14, 2014.
He allegedly stole jewellery, bank cards, iPads, wallets, Xbox games, hair clippers and coins.
The biggest haul was $43,265 worth of jewellery from a DeSilva Drive, Warwick home.
The total amount of goods stolen was $136,200.
Mr O’Neil was not required to enter pleas as the matter must be heard in the Supreme Court.
The matter was adjourned to April 10 and Mr O’Neil was remanded into custody.
