Cars, cargo and cement are all inbound this week.

The bulk carrier and frequent caller Diego arrived in the West End on Monday to deliver cement that will be used in construction projects across the island in the coming months.

While today the Volans Leader will drop off more than 100 Japanese cars in Hamilton before heading off later this afternoon bound for Baltimore on the east coast of the US.

This month’s consignment of 121 cars is a significant increase on the 20-40 figure batches that have been brought on to the island over the last year and may signal a slight up-turn in the industry.

The Norwegian Breakaway is back in Dockyard this morning for her 20th trip of the year.

But as the cruise season slows down there is just the one liner — the Grandeur of the Seas — in the West End this weekend.

She gets into Dockyard at around 3pm on Sunday and is the last cruise call of the month.

The Bermuda Islander is due into the capital with over 100 containers of produce and supplies tomorrow morning.

While the Sea Express tanker will call at the Oil Docks in St George’s on Friday to drop off fuel for BELCO.

Finally the Oleander makes up the schedule for this week, arriving as she usually does on Sunday afternoon.
