Miss Bermuda continues to fly the flag in Indonesia

Miss Bermuda Katie Arnfield is currently number 26 for the Miss World People’s Choice award.

The 17-year-old is in Indonesia for the Miss World Pageant.

She arrived last week and the opening ceremony was held on Sunday in Bali.

The People’s Champion Awards is a people’s choice award, meaning voters pick the winner.

The Miss Bermuda Pageant is encouraging everyone with an iPhone, iPad or android device to download the Miss World App and vote Miss Bermuda into the top six.

Beach beauty

In addition to trying to muster up votes, Miss Bermuda has been busy preparing for the Miss World Competition.

She has competed for beach beauty, participated in a sportswoman competition and met the reigning Miss World.

Miss Arnfield is the youngest Miss Bermuda winner and is rooming with Miss Bahamas in Indonesia.

On her Facebook page, the beauty queen has posted of slew of pictures of her with the other contestants.

The finals of the pageant will be held on September 28 where Yu Wenxia of China PR will crown her successor.

It is unclear where in Indonesia the pageant will be held after Muslim protestors tried to force it out of Jakarta.
