Winky Dinky Dog [WD Dog] rolled onto the scene in June 2004 as a single mobile cart — the first of its kind in Bermuda.

It was a couple of years before others jumped on the bandwagon, but we have maintained not only our brand and product but also our services are continuously evolving to keep ahead of the competition, allowing us to remain the premiere hot dog cart in Bermuda.

Our Butterfield & Vallis establishment has not only become an ‘iconic landmark’ on a Saturday, but has managed consistently over the last nine years to deliver quality product and service, meeting our customers expectations.

Our Par-la-Ville establishment opened in 2010 and has proven to be an ideal weekly venture for our diehard followers and a new market — the business lunch crowd.

With the ability to diversify our basic menu, due to the larger cart, we embraced the concept and offered up a tasty spin on the ‘home’ dog, with Signature Dogs such as the ‘Winky Dinky Dog’ (tomato, bacon and onion) to unique options like the ‘Red Dog’ (Chouriço with grilled vegetables) and ‘Sweetsmok’n Dog’ (smoked sausage with pineapple salsa).

Each season we introduce new menu items and on April 29 will unveil our newest addition to the pack.

WD Dog’s youngest customers are an important partnership to our brand and upon launch of our Par-la-Ville location we added a further aspect to the business, a scholarship programme/fund, namely ‘Sweet’n the Deal’.

An ambitious undertaking; however, we believe if we can promote education by actively working with schools, its students, as well as local participation, we can encourage education and aid Bermuda’s youth, no matter how small the contribution.

Funds are raised, in part, from proceeds of Winky Dinky sales, specifically our ‘Gimmie some shug’r’ products, as well as joint public activities.
