Hundreds of residents took part in the National Trust Palm Sunday Walk which started at Elliot Primary School.

The walk started at 2pm at the Hermitage Road school with many latecomers taking advantage of the fact they were welcome to take part until 3:15pm.

There wasn't any charge for the event but the National Trust was taking donations and had items for sale to help raise money.

The route took participants to places that the public rarely get to explore, and had a map that highlighted some points of cultural interest along the way.

Alison Hill, Argus Group CEO said: “We are delighted to once again be supporting this event that grants unique access to some of Bermuda’s otherwise seldom-seen beauty spots.

“We encourage everyone to take part and get some exercise while enjoying the scenery that makes Bermuda so special.”
