The Miss Bermuda Pageant has begun.

The seven contestants came to the stage dressed in identical black dresses and sparkling silver shoes.

After performing a choreographed dance, the women introduced themselves and their parishes with a bit of history.

Each of the girls received a round of applause.

The evening will continue with the swimsuit and evening wear competitions, and entertainment will be provided by Cindy Smith, Sia Spence, UDP, Dem Biez and more.

MCs for the night are Patrina O'Connor-Paynter and Nadanja Bailey.
