The presentation was held at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess Hotel and was well attended by nearly 200 members and friends.
The awards were for championships from show results for the recently concluded 2012-2013 season and prizes were presented by Bermuda Olympic Association President Mrs Judy Siddle Simons who, in a brief speech, stressed the importance of the equestrian sport and the Olympic Games in which Bermuda has been represented each year since 1980.
The brothers collected a range of awards from Champion Riding pony up to the prestigious Raymond White Memorial Trophy, won by older brother Casey, which is awarded to the overall horse/pony/rider combination.
Another notable winner was Philip Correia, who went away with four trophies mostly for jumping and including the Little Orvy Trophy for the top show jumper
Coach Michael Rodrigues was recognized three times and Inwood Stables came out on top in the stable award for gaining the most points.
Seven-year-old Che Chulae Dowling received a lot of applause for her success in the Junior Lead Line Equitation Class but that was equalled when it was announced that Lucas Bridges, 12, and Justus Anderson, 15, would be representing Bermuda in a Junior Jumping competition to be held in Jamaica in July.
