Troublemakers managed to hold on to their lead in spite of losing 12 to eight to Strikers. Both Gang in Blue and Activators gained ground in the Mixed Majors league — which is typically one of Bermuda’s most wide-open leagues.

CAC Games bronze medal winner Damien Matthews was on fire with a 256 game and 644 series. Carl Reid’s 222 was only good enough for third high game among the men, but his 650 series topped everyone. Jermaine DeSilva also bowled well with a 237 game and 641 series.

Patrice Tucker bested all women with a 226 game and 614 series. The rest of the honours were split among Marguerite Lynch (209), Shirley Tuzo 9201), Pat Price (526) and Carla Whitehurst (520).

Fishbowl League

Amberfish hooked a big winner in last week’s results when they beat Snappers 4-0. The victory helped them to extend their league lead to two games.

Patrice Tucker (225) was the only woman to bowl a 200 game. Marylou Harris (195) Rebekah Darrell (190), Rita Smith (188), Gina James (187) and Deborah Botelho (179) also made the honours list.

Harris had the top handicap series with a 663 with Tucker just five pins behind her.

Elvin Thomas was the top man with a 226 game followed by Carlos Estravit’s 212. Lucky Pitcher (205) and Stephen Paul (203) also rolled 200s while Mark Basden (197) and Malcolm Santucci (191) made the Division Two top three games list.

Thomas also had the high handicap series with a 649 followed by Carl Durrant (635) and Wendell White (632). Pitcher (616), Ronnie Dimapilis (612) and Estravit (610) topped the 600 mark.

Barritt’s League

Sparks went to the top of the standings thanks to a 26.5 point win in their bye week. The pack is close behind them though with Pembroke Jrs., P.H. Club, Team Bouchee and Haascobe all within five games of first.

Damien Matthews had the high game of 256, edging Chris Leverock by one pin. Dean Lightbourn used his 219 game as the foundation for his 626 series, which was good enough to topple Matthews from the top of the series honours list by two pins. Leverock had a 592 series.

Second Spring Seniors League

Noel Pearman was high man with a 184 while Barbara Smith led the ladies with a 164. Gladwin Robinson (177), Leon Smith (176), Dora Spring McGrath (160) and Rose Simmons (157) also made the honours list.

Leon Smith had the high handicap series with a 652 while Barbara Smith had a 639.
