Three teams undefeated

Three teams bolted out of the gate for the start of the Commercial Bowling League. King Pins, The Royal Gazette and Double Trouble swept all four games to be hold the joint lead.

The King Pins did in disconnected BTC 4-0, while the Royal Gazette pressed Strikers 4-0. Double Trouble lived up to their name as they turned sweet life bitter with a 4-0 victory.

Do It Best Masters beat Spinners 3-1 and Sunset shot down Braves 4-0.

League secretary Mary Gaye Dean had the women's high scratch game with a 185. Christine Adams (178) and Marie Ford (175) also rolled well.

Christopher Leverock topped all the men with a 232. Lionel Cann (210) and Henry Mabaylan (205) also surpassed the 200 mark.

Dean (578), Ford (573) and Adams (571) also had the three highest handicap series.

Leverock was the only bowler to get a 600 handicap series when he rolled a 607. Christopher Smith (590) and John Adams (585) were close, but didn't quite reach the mark.
