Team Inferno is too hot to handle for Spinners
WEDNESDAY, JAN. 9: Team Inferno burned up Warwick Lanes in a 3-1 victory over Spinners on Monday in the Commercial League. The win moved them a game closer to first place as leaders Double Trouble split with Gard Do It Best.
Billy Glasford rolled a 255 scratch game on his way to a 595 handicap series. McQuinn Burch had the high handicap series with a 617, while Terence Minors also topped the 600 mark with a 608. Minors best game was a 222 while Burch rolled a 219.
Sharon Gibson had a great night as she rolled a 191 scratch game on her way to a 505 scratch series. High handicap series honours went to Dee Swan and her 639.
Geraldine Harris (624), Malikah Symonds (617) and Marilyn Simmons (617) all made the honours list.
Simmons bowled a 185 scratch game while Harris was just one pin behind her.

Quickie Lickie Laundry gained four games on first place Cubs when they drew 15-15 and Cubs stumbled to Spicenix.
The 200s were flowing as Sheldon Thompson led the way with his 245. Lew Furbert had a 223 while Greame ‘Flash’ Furbert bowled a 222.
Winnette Wellington had a 227 to lead the women with Rochelle Harvey six pins back. Kenneisha Simmons had a 216 game.
Simmons did have the high series for a woman with a 569, topping Harvey by six pins. Pat Price rolled a 551.
Thompson led the league with a 647 with Renalda Bean (606) and Wassy Smith (582) were second and third high respectively.

Rockfish swam past Marlins into first as they defeated Goldfish 3-1 while the former leaders drew 2-2 with Dolphins.
Gladwin Harvey had the high scratch game in the Division One men with a 257. Other division leaders included: Wendell White (203, Division Two men), Juliette Smith (198, Division Two Women) and Corinne Durrant (213, Division One Men).
Harvey also had the high handicap series with a 698. Other leaders were: Durrant (649, Division One Women), Peggy Mello (645, Division Two Women) and Matthew Tumbridge (650, Division Two Men).

Mohawk maintained their league lead with a 3-1 triumph over Cherokee last Friday.
Eldon Landy led all bowlers with a 229 scratch game. Carol Edness was the top woman with a 211.
Robin Simmons was the second high man with a 194 while Sharon Bean rolled a 178.
The top handicapped games were bowled by Charles Charves (271). Johnny Binns (251), Princine Bailey (243) and Karen Landy (235).
Clay Bean had the high handicap series with a 680 while the top woman was Bianca Glasford with a 631.
Second high series honours went to Noel Cann (667) and Patrice Rawlins (615).
