Snipers pin down East End bowling lead
TLC blanked Ten Pins 9-0 to make a run at fourth place, currently held by Fireballs. Here We Come upset Fireballs with a 6-3 victory.
Other scores saw Spare Collectors beat Up-N-Coming 6-3 and Trailblazers tame See-Breeze Strikers by the same score.
Edward Trott had a 221 game on his way to a 591 series. Greame Furbert used a 213 game as the basis for his 587 series. Other scores above 200 included Paul Simons (214), Gerald Regis (214) and Rudy Dill (203). Alfred Wright bowled a 557 series.
Sandra Brangman had a 198 game to top the ladies, but it was Carolyn Welch's 528 that won series honours. Welch also bowled a 191 game. Maryell Jackson had a 193 game and 517 series while Joanne Wellman rolled a 507 series.

Young Bloods leaped into fifth place with a 28 to thrashing of Southside One. Stash T moved up one spot into third with a 24.5 to 5.5. win over Buy & Sell.
Other scores saw PHC knock off top club Pembroke Juniors 19 to 11; Sparks beat Southside Two 25 to 5; and Logic Rollers down The Old & The New 26 to 4.
Gilbert DeCosta rolled a 239 game, edging Antoine Jones by four pins for top honour. Casey Burgess had a 234 game.

Bericton Imports Trio League
It was a week of blowouts as Top Guns shot down Late Rollers 16 to 2; Starting Over beat Last Minute 16-2; and Produce had an easy win over Missing in Action 15 to 3.
Clem Lespere had a 196 game and 542 series while David Cann had a 191 game and 520 series. George Ben (183, 506) also rolled well.
Michelle Simons was the top lady with a 211 game and 572 series. Lynn Gilbert (169, 454) and Rozie Simmons (168, 462) also bowled well.

Goldfish picked up ground on Marlins with a 3-1 triumph over Hammerheads. Marlins lost to Hinds by the same score. Porgies beat Piranhas 4-0 while Tuna blanked Barracuda. Mackerel took all four points off of Cow Pollies. Other scores saw Flying Fish 3-1 and Wahoo downed Dolphins 3-1. Standings: 1. Marlins 47-29; 2. Goldfish 45-31; 3. Porgies 44-32; 4. Barracuda 42-34; 5. Hinds 42-34; 6. Dolphins 40-36; 7. Flying Fish 38-38; 8. Piranhas 37.5-38.5; 9. Cow Pollies 36-40; 10. Mackerel 35-41; 11. Hammerheads 33-43; 12. Tuna 32-44; 13. Commercial Bowling League
King Pins kept the pressure up as they beat Braves 3-1 to maintain their league lead. BTC overtook Strikers for second place with a 3-1 victory over Spinners. All the other teams in the league drew their matches.
Terrlyn Jones had a 216 game while Marie Ford (212) also topped 200. Christopher Smith (226), John Adams (221) and Alvin Outerbridge (200) all made their 200s.
