WEDNESDAY, SEP. 26: Snappers went to the top of the Fishbowl League after Marlins stumbled to Mackerel. Snappers beat Hog Fish 4-0 to run the team’s record to 9.5 wins, with 2.5 losses.

Gladwin Harvey led all bowlers with a 258 scratch game, just two pins better than Richard Zuill. John Adams had a 230 scratch which helped him to a league high 710 handicap series.

Patrice Tucker was the top woman with a 231 game followed by Yvonne Joseph (196), Lisa Saints 9188) and Sheila Easton (185). Tucker had the women’s high handicap series with a 693.

Armadillo Ladies Classic

Lucky Strikes broke free from a tie with Fresh Blood to move to the stop of the standings. Lucky Strikes beat the Upstarts 17 to 3. Bobbie Junes had a 197 game on her way to a 568 series. June Dill used her 209 for a 557 series.

Josie Richardson (200) and Kathy Christopher (555) also made the honours list.

Scores: Changes 6, Fresh Blood 14; FIL Dangerous Dames 2, Hot Tamales 18; BYE 1.5, Upstarts 18.5; Lucky Strikes 17, Classy Ladies 3; Strike Zone 12, OCD 8.

Mixed Majors

Unpredictable stayed on top of the league with a 15 to f triumph over Spare Change.

Matthew Viney had another good week as he rolled a 237 on his way to a 628 series but David Maycock took top honours with a 253 and 661.

Clyde burgess (234) and Vernon Daniels (623) also made the honours list.

Patrice Tucker was on fire as she had a 249 game, which she used for her 729 series. Carla Whitehurst used her 226 game as the foundation for her 597 series. Also making the women’s honours list were Tyrika simmons 9212) and Josie Richardson (520).
