Snappers bounced back to retake the Fishbowl League's top spot with a 4-0 hammering of Dolphins. They also were fortunate to have Piranhas drop all four points to Hinds, as they are in first place by just a half game. The win by Hinds positioned them for a title run with six weeks to go as they now trail Snappers by two. They are tied for third with Wahoo, who put a huge dent into Marlins' title aspirations with a 4-0 victory. Marlins are just seven games back, but now have to climb over four teams to get the crown. Other scores saw Jellyfish take four from Barracuda, Cow Pollies beat Goldfish 3-1, Mackerel take three from Porgies and Orca snag three of four from Tuna.

The lanes were rolling hot with at least 10 people garnering 200s.

Cathee Tumbridge led all women with a 218, but Sandra Ford (212), Patrice Tucker (208) and Judy Aldred (203) all reached that milestone. Richard Zuill topped the men with a 224 followed by Frances DeSilva (212), Alpheus Santucci (211), Brian Hollis (211), Mark Herauf (206) and Joseph Benevides (205).
