On the brink of elimination, Scared Hitless roared back to life in a mercy victory over BEST Shipping.
BEST scored two in the top half of the first on only one hit as they used a couple of walks and a sacrifice fly to move the runners around the bases.
Hitless replied with five runs of their own and never looked backed. The team picked up another seven runs in the second as it cruised to the win.
Leadoff man Owen Darrell was 2-3 and Levar Bassett was 3-4. Juman Davis (2-4) homered in the winning cause while Zachary Simmons (2-2) was perfect at the plate and picked up a couple of walks as did Matthew Johnson (3-3). Lisa DeSilva (1-4) led the team with four RBI. Nelson Arruda (1-2) homered again for BEST as no batter had more than one hit.
BEST leads the series 2-1.

Bermuda Water Tours took a 2-1 advantage over KPMG, but it took scoring nine runs in the final inning to overcome an early deficit.

Tom Fitzgerald (3-5, 5 RBI) homered twice and Matt Mahar (3-4) homered once as they helped fuel KPMG’s early lead. Evan Gerrant and Sharon Schmidt were big helps by both going 4-5 at the bottom of the order.
