Richardson rolls 700 series

PH Club are on the verge of winning its 500th game this season after a 27 to three triumph over Buy & Sell in the Barritt's League. Pembroke Juniors had the high team series with a 2,811.

Lamar Richardson lost out on high game with a 237, but his 695 was tops in the league. Ty Williams had the high game with a 241, which he was able to convert into a 605 series. Colbert Pearman and Miles Smith both rolled a 234 game with Smith having a 631 series.

FM-Continental League

Richie Richardson and Pebbles Tucker set new high series marks as the league is in its final nine weeks.

Cubs knocked off top team Pinjammers 20 to 10, to breath life into any hope that Spicenix can catch them. Spicenix did its part by defeating The Invaders 21 to 9 to pull within 13 games of Jammers.

But the story of the week was the bowling of Richardson and Tucker. Richardson rolled a 253, 227 and 247 to record his 727 series. Ivan Trott (231, 639) and Steven Paul (228, 599) also rolled well.

Winnette Wellington and Olivette Armstrong both topped 200 with Wellington winning the battle for second high game, beating Armstrong by two pins when she rolled a 224.

Kathy Christopher (566) had the second high series with Wellington (564) third.

Fishbowl League

Piranhas kept their title hopes alive by knocking Porgies off the top spot in the league. That allowed Snappers to move into first, with Piranhas 4.5 back.

Richard Zuill led all bowlers with a 248 game. Edging Carlos Estravit (244) for the top honour. Peter Winsby (237) and Tony Vibal (212) also rolled 200s.

Zuill also had the high handicap series with a 708. Quinton Mallory (677) and Peter Winsby (671) were second and third.

The top woman was Patrice Tucker as she continued her good form with a 206. Lisa Saints missed a 200 by one pin with both Karen Perinchief and Juliette Smith rolling 190s.

Lisa Saints had the high handicap series with a 647, edging out Tucker by five pins. Prudy Spriggs (623), Margie Lynch (615), Marj Correia (612) and Paula Georges (602) all topped 600.

Armadillo Ladies Classic

Bottom club Hot Tamales pulled off an upset of sorts when they held top team Classy Ladies to a 10-10 draw.

Patrice Tucker had a 226 game and 607 series. Shakia Smith had the high game with a 243 and the third high series with a 560. Kathy Christopher also had a nice night with a 224 game and 580 series.

Scores: Classy Ladies 15, Pacesetters 5; Changes 12, Fresh Blood 8; Strike Zone 8, Lucky Strikes 12; Upstarts 10, Hot Tamales 10.

East End League

Pin Snipers solified their hold on first with a 9-0 victory over Trailblazers. Slim Wilson (232), Tim Lodge (202, 211 and 571), Jennifer Butterfield (187) and Carolyn Welch (182, 500) led the league in bowling.
