Quickie Lickie holds off Cubs in close title race

Continental League
Second place Cubs beat first place Quickie Lickie Laundry 19 to 11, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the leaders for the league title.
Quickie Lickie won the league by a 14-game margin.
Sheldon Thompson missed out on a perfect game with a superb 276. He would go on to roll a 620 series.
Eldon Landy (242 game), Tango Burgess (226 game), Dwayne Trott (612 series) and Gregory Simons (593 series) all rolled well on the last night of bowling for the season.
Kenneisha Simmons ended a great season with a 256 game and 628 series. Pat Price (203) and Rosie Bean (202) both earned 200s while June Pitt (565 series) and Patrice Tucker (558 series) both made the honours list.
