Pinjammers close the gap

The Pinjammmers are less than two games out of first place after their 23 to 7 triumph over Bermuda Pest Control on Monday night at Warwick Lanes.

Top team Nifty Rollers stumbled in a 24 to 6 loss to Quickie Lickie Laundry.

Other scores saw Odd Balls knock down New Hope 18 to 12; Spicenix beat Pinsplitters 21 to 9; and the Cubs and The Invaders split their games.

Harry Bean rolled a 236 game and a 590 series. Jackie Miller led all bowlers with a 597 series. Other men bowling well were Jaron Tucker (222, 592) and Steve Harvey (236).

Jennifer Stovell had a 202 game while Winette Wellington (198) and June Pitt (189) were just shy of their 200s. Wellington also rolled a 537 to edge Pitt (531) and Carla Whitehurst (521).
