P.H. clubs Pin Raiders

P.H. Club won the battle of top tier teams as it beat Pin Raiders 18 to 12. The victory created a gap of almost 14 games between the second and third place clubs.

Just two pins separated the top game from the third best one as Kevin Swan's 224 held up as top score. Dennis Trott and LeVinc Samuels were one and two pins back respectively.

Swan also had the high series with a 630. Trott missed out on his 600 by five pins. Oscar Andrade had the third high series with a 579.

Fishbowl League

Mackerel extended its lead with a 3-1 triumph over Porgies while second place Marlins slipped up in a 2.5 to 1.5 loss to Flying Fish.

Joanie Harper had a 232 game to lead all women, but Rebekah Darrell also did well with a 222 game. Rosheene Ottley had the other 200.

Lucky Pitcher's 256 game was the best for the night. Joe Lam (231), Wayne Robinson (218), Richard Zuill (215), Joshua Bento (215) were just some of the other 200s.

Pitcher also had the high handicap series with a 692. The top women were Harper and Janice Allen, who both had a 647.

Mixed Majors

Just half a game separated Fight Back and Troublemakers as they faced off for first place in last week's match.

When the last pin fell, nothing had changed as the two sides split their games 10 to 10.

Third place Activators couldn't make up much ground as they barely beat Unpredictable 11 to nine.

Carl Reid shot down 260 pins to have high game. Stephen Paul continued his hot rolling with a 246 while Anthony Smith had a 235. Jennifer Stovell was the top woman, also with a 235. Pat Price's 221 was good enough with the second high score while Josie Richardson rolled a 215.

Paul had a 703 series to top all bowlers. Price was the top woman with a 611.

Ten Pins whitewashed Up-N-Coming 9-0 but it wasn't enough to overhaul leaders Here We Come, who hold onto a half game advantage.

Matthew Viney rolled a 212 on his way to a 613 series. Flash Furbert had the high game with a 232. Elvin Thomas used his 210 for his 545 series.

Laurie Simons had a 210 and a 194 as she rolled a 569 series. Sandra Ford had a 190 game while Red Welch (528) and Maryell Jackson (509) both made the high series honours list.

Scores: Fireballs 4, Trailblazers 5; Ten Pins 9, Up-N-Coming 0; TLC 6, See-Breeze Strikers 3; Spare Collectors 0, Strike Squad 9; Pin Snipers 1, Here We Come 8.

Bottom clubs Odd Balls and The Invaders both managed to split their games this week. Odd Balls held Bermuda Pest Control to a 15-15 draw while The Invaders did likewise to Quickie Lickie Laundry.

Stephen Paul's 241 and 673 were the top game and series. Both Skeets Zuill and Wassy Smith rolled a 223. Jaron Tucker's 589 was good for second high series while Philip Francis had the third high series with a 573.
