Estravit rolls 700 series

Barritt’s League

PH Club cut into Pembroke Juniors lead with a resounding 29 to 1 victory over the Bye team.

Kevin Swan rolled a 614 series on the back of his 221 game. Miles Smith had the high game with a 232. He also rolled a 608 series, one less than LeVinc Samuels. Samuels had a 200 game.

Scores: PH Club 29, Bye 1; Pin Raiders 9, Pembroke Jrs 21; Team Bouchee 14, Sparks 16; Young Bloods 8, Haascobe 22.

Commercial League

Sharon Gibson (181) and Patrick Walker (216) had the high scratch games as Colonial Braves pushed their lead to 4.5 over BTC.

High handicap series honours went to Shay Ford (639) and Dennis Joell (628).

Continental  League

Odd Balls gave hope to the rest of the league when the upset hot-running Quickie Lickie Laundry 18.5 to 11.5. Unfortunately both second place Pinjammers and third place Cubs lost and gave up ground to Quickie Lickie.

Gregory Simons had a 224 game which he converted into a 631 series. Harold Minors had second high honours in both categories with a 226 game and 623 series. Troy Richardson had the high game with a 230. Jaron Tucker rolled a 600 series.

Kenneisha Simmons was the top woman with a 266 and 625 while Rochelle Harvey bowled a 200 on her way to a 516.

Peaches Perinchief (195) and Juliette Smith (520) also made the honours list.

Mixed Majors

Gang in Blue moved into first with a 15 to 5 victory Fight Back in a contest between the league’s top two teams.

Renalda Bean was on fire with a 257 game and 656 series. David Maycock was right behin him in both categories dwith a 244 and 639. Stephen Paul rolled a 243 game while Casey Burgess had a 607 series for the pair to take third high honours in both categories.

Kathleen Christopher rolled a 232 game on her way to a women’s high 602 series.

Lynn Gilbert (200) and Josie Richardson (195) were the second and third high games while Joan Burgess (558) and Jennifer Stovell (529) had the second and third high series.

Carlos Estravit rolled a 700 series to top all bowlers. Estravit used a 258 game as he rolled to a scratch 705 series and 753 handicap series.

Cathee Tumbridge was the top woman with a 211 scratch game and 613 handicap series.
