PH Club edge rivals Pembroke Juniors
WEDNESDAY, FEB. 15: Pembroke Jrs suffered a rare loss in the Barritt’s League on Saturday at Warwick Lane.
They lost to 14 to 16 to second place PH Club, but maintained a 70-point league lead.
With just nine weeks to go in the season, it would take a miraculous comeback for any team to catch them short of a total collapse by Juniors.
Antoine Jones led all bowlers with a 256 game, which was 10 pins better than runner-up Vernon Daniels. Dean Lightbourn had a 231 game.
Daniels had the top series with a 638 while Lightbourn also finished over 600 with a 620. Miles Smith’s 610 was third high on the night.
