Paul rolls 200s in two leagues

Amber Fish moved into a tie for first with Barracuda in the Fishbowl League when they beat Wahoo 3-1 and Porgies lost 1-3 to Mackerel.

Stephen Paul had a 237 game to lead all bowlers. Gladwin Harvey was just four pins behind him and Alpheaus Santucci rolling a 224.

John Thorne was the top Division 2 man with a 194 followed by Hanny Consolacion (193) and David Mello (189).

Patrice Tucker was the top woman when she bowled her 216 game. Lisa Saints (212) was the only other woman to roll a 200 as Juliette Smith and Gina James (199) missed out by one pin.

Lelina Niera was the top Division 2 woman with a 172, followed by June Simons (164) and Cindy Laurin (161).

High handicap series honours went to Santucci with a 697 — but just barely. Harvey was nipping on his heels with a 695. Paul’s 642 was good enough for third.

Consolacion took high handicap series honours for Division 2 men with a 640 followed by David Mello (618) and Brian Simmons (615).

Tucker was also the top woman with a handicap series as she collected 650 pins.

Juliette Smith (643) and Sandra Ford (634) followed her on the honours list.

Simons and Niere both bowled a 621 handicap series to tie for top Division 2 woman with Laurin third at 605.

Troublemakers took over the top spot in the standings with a 16 to 4 beating of True Mix.

Jennifer Stovell was on fire as she rolled a 252 game to lead all bowlers. Patrice Tucker was second high woman and tied Jermaine DeSilva, the men’s high game bowler, with a 238. Juliette Smith continued her good week with a 211.

Stephen Paul added a 235 here to his 237 in the Fishbowl League while Renalda Bean had a 244.

Tucker had the high series with a 666 with DeSilva’s 662 second. Other high series were rolled by: Jennifer Stovell (590), Pat P Price (556) and Paul (635).
