Maycock's perfect!
Bowler rolls a 300 game
Perfection! David Maycock rolled every bowler's dream - a perfect game - in the Mixed Majors League last week. Maycock started the night with a 173 before rolling a 216, and finished strong with his 300. He helped Gang in Blue to a 19 rout over Movers N Shakers.
They'll be a full interview with Maycock in Friday's Bermuda Sun.
Besides Maycock, other bowlers were rolling well at Warwick Lanes. Tony Richardson (237), Anthony Zuill (233), Carla Whitehurst (232), Charletta Samuels (215) and Pat Price (201) all put up big numbers.

Continental Bowling League
The Pinjammers keep rolling along in the Freisenbruch-Meyer Continental Bowling League. The top club beat Bermuda Pest Control 25 to 5 to increase its lead over Spicenix.
Bruce Benevides rolled a 224 to beat Kenneisha Simmons by one pin for high score. Richie Richardson (217), Rochelle Harvey (215), Yummy Easton (214) and Kathy Christopher (213) all easily surpassed the 200 threshold. Simmons, with a 599, had the high series. The high man was Phillip Francis with a 587, edging Benevides by one. Richardson (584), Christopher (565) and Harvey (558) rounded out the high series scores.

Brian Botelho's 240 led all bowlers, but Stephen Paul was right behind him with a 237. Other good games were rolled by Gregory White (232), Rusty Solis (226), Ted Swiss (225) and Malcolm Santucci (219).
High score for the women was Patrice Tucker with a 205. Margie Lynch (196) and Pat Price (194) were the second and third high scores.
Botelho also had the high handicap series with a 776. The high woman was Patrice Tucker with her 652.

Barritt's League
PH Club have a long road to hoe if they are going to overcome leaders Pembroke Juniors, but they picked up 10 valuable games in last week's action. They still trail by 40 games.
Kevin Swan was heart-breaking close to a 300 game, with a 278. He finished with a 736 series. Maurice Caines (249) and Raymond Burchall (246) also had superb scores. Second high series went to Christopher Leverock (672) while Burchall (665) had the third high score.
