Matthews is on a roll

P.H. Club smoked Pembroke Jrs 25 to 5 as the two teams battled to get the upper hand in the race for second place in the Barritt’s League. With the victory. Juniors lead P.H. Club by just a half a game with seven weeks to go.
Top team Haascobe had little difficulty in getting past Pin Raiders 25 to 5 and now lead the league by 42 games.
CAC Games bronze medalist Damien Matthews was on form with a 258 game and 669 series. Casey Burgess used his 226 game to roll a 609 series. Kevin Swan (221) and Dean Lightbourn (601)  also made the honurs’ list.

BTC’s lead has frayed to a single game after King Pins knocked off Double Trouble 3-1. 
Cheryl Watts had the high handicap series with a 670. Both Tine Smith and Brenda-Jean Smith bowled a 658 series.
Tine Smith had the high scratch game with a 205 with Brenda-Jean Smith next in line with a 187. Donna Johnson rolled a 182.
Wayne Raynor used his scratch 208 to roll a 654 handicap series. Junior Campbell had the high scratch game with a 232 while Kenny Ford (211) and Wendell Smith (208) also topped 200. 
Kenny Ford’s 649 was the second high handicap series by a man with Jason Ford rolling a 633.

Pinsplitters took over second place when the team cooked up a 19 to 11 victory over Spicenix. The two clubs flopped positions in the standings.
Anthony Hayward made his 233 series stand up to a 660 series. Bruce Benevides had the high game with a 244. Michael Lambe converted his 225 into a 606 series.
The ladies top three stayed the same for the high game and series. Patrice Tucker (214, 625), Kathy Christopher (205, 546) and Marj Armstrong (201, 527) dominated the honours’ list.

Marlins closed the gap on Amberfish to four games with a 4-0 triumph over Snappers. Amberfish still has a four game lead.
Yvonne Joseph (201) was the only woman with a 200.
There were plenty of 200s among the men with Hanny Consolacion leading the way with a 235.
David Mello (214), William Steede (211), Lucky pitcher (209), Stephen Paul (205), Richard Zuill (205), Ivan Trott (205) and Tony Vibal (202) all rolled well.
