Lambe scores for Ipswich Reserves

Reggie Lambe helped Ipswich Town Reserve team beat Millwall 4-3 on Tuesday afternoon. Lambe scored one of his side’s four goals with the other three coming from Shane O’Connor, Ronan Murray and Jamie Griffiths. 
Pimentel Athlete of the Week
Cameron Pimentel was selected as Roger Williams Male Athlete of the Week for helping his school finish second at the Smith Trophy regatta hosted by MIT. Pimentel and crew Bianca Rom were first overall in the A Fleet. The pair combined for six first place finishes and two second places as they finished with a total of 39.
Berry sets PB
Ashley Berry ran a personal best as her Duke University cross country team dominated the Hagan Stone Cross Country Classic last Saturday. Berry’s time was 18:44.1 as she finished eighth. Duke had nine of the top 10 runners in the event. 
Minors finishes fourth
Dage Minors strong performance saw his Johnsbury Academy finish first overall in a five school cross country meet. Minors was fourth as his teammates swept the one through five spots for a perfect score of 15.
Commercial Bowling League
Royal Gazette went to the top of the league with a 2-2 draw with Sunset. Other scores saw Double Trouble beat Strikers 3-1; King Pins downed BTC 3-1; Spinners trebled D.C. Braves 3-1; and Sweet Life and Do It Best Masters drew 2-2.
Wayne Raynor rolled a 222 to lead all bowlers. Junior Campbell had a 215 game to edge Sean Perinchief by one pin for second high game.
Veney Sims was the top woman with a 189 with Tiffany Glasford 14 behind her. Malikah Symonds was third woman with a 171. Charmin Smith had the high handicap series with a 624, but Glasford was close behind with a 618. Kenny Ford was the top man with a 672 followed by Perinchief’s 654. n
