Juniors take charge of Barritt's League

Haascobe's lead vanished in the Barritt's League after Pembroke Jrs. beat them 22 to 8. The loss dropped them into second with Juniors taking over the top spot.

PH Club hammered The Old & The New 27.5 to 2.5 while Team Bouchee almost climbed into fourth after extinguishing Sparks 25 to 5.

The other league match saw newly named Pin Raiders drop Young Bloods 20 to 10.

Gladwin Harvey had the high score with a 251, which he was able to turn into a 608 series. Wayne Robinson's 237 was good enough for second high game while George Bean (217) was third.

Jermaine DeSilva barely missed out on a 600 but had the second high series with a 595. LeVinc Samuels (590) was third.

FM Continental League

Spicenix moved past New Hope to take over first after the team beat The Invaders 27 to 3. New Hope won its match against Cubs 19 to 11 and is now two games off the pace.

Kenneisha Simmons was the hot female bowler as she knocked down 226 pins on her way to a 609 series. Pat Price did well too as her 215 was the basis for her 515 series.

Marj Armstrong (194) had the third high game while Kathy Christopher (531) had the second high series.

Harold Minors had a near perfect game with a 267.

He ended up with a 616 series. Stephen Paul had a 236 game and led all bowlers with a 634 series. Harry Bean (256 game) and Blair Showers (582 series) also rolled well.

Commercial Bowling League

Royal Gazette is alone in first after whitewashing DC Braves 4-0.

Sharon Gibson had the women's high scratch game with a 193, just ahead of Zina Jones (188) and Terrylyn Jones (187).

Chris Leverock barely missed out on a 300 but was top score with a 279. Jermaine DeSilva (226) and Lee Holder (201) also had 200s.

Zina Jones (637) and Leverock (789) won high handicap series honours. Other high series were rolled by Gertrude Leverock (633), Earleen DeSilva (630), Robert 'Dixie' Symonds (648) and Alvin Outerbridge (624).

Shirley Tuzo's 227 and Carl Reid's 252 were the high games in the Mixed Majors League while Patrice Tucker (602) and Damien Matthews (682) had the high series.

Hinds went to the top of the league with a 3-1 victory over Porgies. There is a five-way tie for second with Marlins, Tuna, Mackerel, Barracuda and Tuna all at 8-4.
