Jermaine DeSilva has a hot week

It's tight at the top of the Commercial League as just two games separates the top four teams. King Pins moved into second when they beat Double Trouble 3-1 to edge one game closer to first.

Jermaine DeSilva led all bowlers with a 223 game, just edging Jache Adams by three pins. Wayne Raynor had a 215 game. Marilyn Simmons had a 187 game to best the rest of the women. Christine Adams (181) and Shayna Chijiutomi (175) were second and third.

High handicap series honours belong to Christine Adams with a 642. Chijiutomi (629) and Simmons (626) were the second and third women.

Kenny Ford was the top man with a 638. Raynor (630) and Jache Adams (621) were next in line for high handicap amongst the men.

Continental League

Pinjammers took advantage of the league's top teams playing each other to a draw to thump The Invaders.

Rochelle Harvey got her 600 series, but just barely. Harvey rolled a 601 thanks in part to the 229 game she bowled. Joan Thompson had the second high female game with a 214 and she used that for a 563 series. Kenneisha Simmons made both honour lists with a 202 and 576.

Clem Lespere turned his 216 game into a 593 series. William Steede rolled the top game for a man with a 226, with Stephen Paul just one pin behind. Anthony Smith (584) and Wayne Kelly (582) had the second and third high series for men.

Mixed Majors

There's a good three-team battle brewing for first. Fight Back increased its lead slightly with a 17 to 3 triumph over Unpredictable.

David Maycock had an unholy 666 as the top series. He rolled a 233 as the foundation for the high series. Wayne Kelly (215, 624) and Jermaine DeSilva (209, 608) were the next two best bowlers on the night.

Carla Whitehurst rolled a 193 on her way to a 552. Jennifer Stovell used her 206 as a big part of her 549. Patrice Tucker also made both game and series honours' lists with a 202 and 545.

P.H. Club gave Pembroke Jrs. a minor setback in their run to the league crown. PHC beat the Juniors 22 to 8.

Jermaine DeSilva continued his good form across multiple leagues with a 242 game and 620 series. Gladwin Harvey rolled a 246 as the foundation for his 602 series/ Anthony Zuill (245) and Oscar Andrade (616) also bowled well.
