Insurer adding retail to its Front Street building
SUNDAY, MAY 20: An insurance company is on the verge of opening its redesigned building.
On Friday evening, Freisenbruch-Meyer held a preview for clients ahead of its grand opening of its new first floor reception area.
The company will be adding an elevator to also make it easier for its clients to reach the offices on the second and third floors.
Wlliam Madeiros, vice president and general manager, said the company is pushing for a soft opening of the ground floor reception area by the end of May.
“It’s going to be a fantastic day when we’re finally able to occupy the ground floor. It’s going to create such a better environment to serve our clients. It’s going to be a one-stop shop that’s warm, welcome, bright and airy. I’m really looking forward to it.”
Friday’s preview party was a fourth in a series to showcase the new facility to clients.
He said at the previous previews “everyone is saying the right things – they like the design. We’ve tried to make it fresh. We’ve tried to make it new and modern.”
He said the front of the building will include some retail.
“We’re incredibly sensitive to Front Street and what Front Street means to a lot of people so we want to create an environment where you can not only come in and do your insurance business, but so you can do other business at the same time.”
Michael Freisenbruch, president, said the company “value relationships with our clients” and the previews were helping solidify those relationships.
