Insurance company chief appointed Business Bermuda chairman

Mr. Cash replaces Vicki Coelho who recently completed her two-year term as the organization’s chairwoman.

According to a press statement, Mr. Cash will be responsible for working with Cheryl Packwood, Business Bermuda CEO, to promote Bermuda’s international business offerings both on-island and around the world.

He brings the perspective of an insurance company executive to the role, which is expected to broaden the base of support for Business Bermuda.

Mr. Cash said: “I am pleased to take on the role as chairman and thank Vicki Coelho for all of her efforts over the past two years.

“I believe that Business Bermuda is well-positioned to market the jurisdiction and I look forward to working with Cheryl, her team and the board, to further the efforts of the organization and grow international business in Bermuda.”

Ms Packwood said: “I am excited to work with David and build bridges between Business Bermuda’s members and the insurance community.
