IBC meets the needs of more than 11,000 residents
IBC Bermuda has been moving packages around Bermuda and the globe since 1988 and has become a household name as a leader in innovation and service.
Over the years, IBC has introduced a number of services to Bermuda to meet the ever-changing shipping needs of the island’s residents and international customers.
In 1997, IBC was chosen to assume the Bermuda operations for UPS, the largest express carrier and package carrier in the world.
This significantly increased our capacity and services.
ZipX was launched in 1999 to provide local residents with a U.S. shipping address to access products through catalogues and the Internet, which is often limited to shipping within the U.S. and Canada only.
Locals have their packages delivered to our IBC NY facility.
They are processed and forwarded to Bermuda daily and delivered to the customer here.
ZipX membership has grown to over 11,000 and continues to grow daily.
In 2002, IBC introduced a dedicated cargo and courier 727 Jet aircraft in partnership with UPS, which serves Bermuda daily Monday to Friday.
The larger capacity on the aircraft allows for greater volume of courier shipments and large freight shipments, including horses.
Today, IBC has clients representing the major local and international businesses in Bermuda. Our personal touch, flexible policies and specially designed services allow us to meet our clients’ shipping needs to and from virtually anywhere in the world.
IBC’s 60 plus staff are dedicated to providing first class service to Bermudians and local and international business alike.
Providing shipping and delivery services Around the corner, Around the island, and Around the world, IBC is here to serve all your shipping and delivery needs.
