Head to Horseshoe for Good Friday Kite Festival
The annual Good Friday Kite Festival will be held on Friday at Horseshoe Bay Beach from 11am to 4pm. The kite competition is open to locals and visitors alike and is one of the island’s best-loved traditions.
The schedule runs as follows:
- 11am: The Annual Good Friday Kite Festival Begins
- 11:05am: Opening Prayer
- 11:15am: Official Welcome
- 11:30 -2:00pm: Music/live entertainment
- 2pm: Contest starts
- 2:30pm: Tug-O-War and official thank you
- 2:45-4:00pm: Continuation of music
- 4:00pm: Ends.
