Four men all roll 214 to lead Fishbowl rollers

Can anyone do it better? Do It Best moved into a tie for the lead in the Commercial League after giving Sunset a 4-0 beat down. Double Trouble retained partial control of first with a 3-1 victory over former frontrunner Royal Gazette.

Junior Campbell's 223 led all bowlers, but Zina Jones wasn't far behind at 222. The second high scratch games for the men and women were both 206 - with Terrlyn Jones and Chris Leverock gathering honours.

Wayne Raynor (205) also had a 200.

Kenny Ford rolled off with the high handicap series with a 660. Robert 'Dixie' Symonds and Hewvonnie Brown tied for second with a 617.

Christine Adams' 630 was tops amongst women with Marie Ford (623) and Shayna Chijiutomi second and third respectively.

Fishbowl League

Wahoo gained ground on leaders Snappers with a 4-0 frying of Dolphins. Snappers' lead was cut to one game after a 3-1 victory over Mackerel.

Last Friday at Warwick Lanes also a rare occurrence - four players tied for the high game.

Peter Winsby, Alpheus Santucci, Joshua Bento and Lucky Pitcher all filled up the score card with 214s.

The high women were Patrice Tucker (190), Cathee Tumbridge (184) and Juliette Smith (182).

Ignacio Pascual has the high handicap series with a 699 and was followed by Lionel Cann (677) and AJ Mello (665). The top women were Veronica brown (674), Lisa Madeiros (613) and Paula Georges (612).

Mixed Majors

Activators gained a big chunk of ground on the leaders with a 17 to 3 thrashing of True Mix. Top team Troublemakers suffered a 14 to 6 defeat to Mix Ups and second place Gang in Blue were edged by Try Hards.

The lanes were rolling favourably as several 200s were bowled. Jermaine DeSilva was the top man with a 247, but was followed closely by Llotd Evans at 244. The men's third high game was rolled by Vernon Daniels (224).

Patrice Tucker had a hot hand as she rolled a 255 and a 212. Juliette Smith had a 207.

Desilva also took high series

honours with a 629 with Daniels (615) also topping the 600 mark. Lucky Pitcher (590) was the third high man.

With her pair of 200s, Tucker barely edged Smith for the high series at 554 to 553. Pat price was third at 542.

Barritt's League

Haascobe lept into second place with a 26 to 4 victory over P.H. Club.

The loss by PHC knocked all the way down to fifth from second with pin raiders and Team Bouchee also passing them.

Gilbert DeCosta (231), Sinclair Samuels (222) and Levince Samuels (222) had the top games, but it was Dean Lightbourn (618) who had the high series honour. DeCosta (582) and George Ben had the second and third high series.

FM-Continental League

Quickie Lickie Laundry cleaned up against New Hope and moved into first place.

Quickie Lickie won 21.5 to 8.5 against New Hope while former first place team Spicenix struggled to get past Pinjamers 16 to 14.

Shirly Tuzo used her 211 game as the basis for her 585 series. Kenneisha Simmons (203, 572) and Patrice Tucker (191, 543) also made noth the high game and high series list.

Phillip Francis (225) had the high game, but Troy Richardson (619) had the high series.
