Fireballs keep hot streak alive
Both Drifters and Islanders kept pace with each other on top of the Second Spring Seniors League.
Jim Francis had a 180 scratch game to lead all bowlers. Noel Pearman and Llew Jones both rolled a 176.
Rose Simmons was the top woman with a 164 followed by Judith Woolf (159) and Barbara Smith (157).
Pearman had the high handicap series for a man with a 649. His total was 18 pins better than Norman Dunstan with Martin Hassell rolling a 629.
Simmons had the overall high handicap series with a 662, barely edging Woolf by two pins. Anita Landy collected 639 pins.

East End Winter League
Fireballs kept their hot streak alive with a 9-0 triumph over Pin Snipers. The win helped them expand their lead over ten pins.
Carolyn Welch had two 200s (203 and 200) in bowling a 558 series. Linda Simons based her 508 series off her 186 game. Maryell Jackson also made the honours list with a 479.
Lawrence Smith had the overall high game with a 229, which translated into a 496 series for him. Tim Lodge (215 and 531) and Rudy Dill (189 and 511) also made the games and series lists.
