SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 4: A steady stream of people attended the C Travel Travel Mart at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess on Saturday.

The annual travel fare brought some of the top names in industry to Bermuda so residents could meet them and ask questions.

American Airlines was showing off a round-trip fare to New York for $198, not including taxes and fees.

Other American Airlines seat sale destinations include: Raleigh ($270), Toronto ($340), Tampa ($381), Orlando ($389), Las Vegas ($408), Los Angeles ($449). You have to book your ticket by February 8 with the last day to travel being March 5.

Other seat sale prices with the same rules but different airlines include: Boston ($230), Chicago ($287) and Baltimore ($338)

Not to be beat, Air Canada was offering the same rate for one-way travel to Toronto and Montreal and one-way flights to Halifax for $135. The Air Canada flights are good from now until March 1 and March 12 until April 28 and you must have an advance purchase of seven days and travel must be completed by April 28.

For those who like to cruise, there are two opportunities to board Royal Caribbean’s Explorer of the Seas in Bermuda in August.

Explorer departs Bermuda on August 4 and August 18 and the eight-day cruise includes stops in St. Maarten, Puerto Rico, Haiti before ending at Cape Liberty Cruise Port in New Jersey.

Inside staterooms start at $914 with balcony staterooms starting at $1,734.

Celebrity Cruises was offering free gratuities, onboard credits and upgrades on selected cruises.

The booking window to get these extras is from February 6 to 19 and you’ll need to see a C Travel agent to get the details.

Good on Celebrity and sister line Royal Caribbean was a $50 or $100 onboard credit for ocean view or balcony rooms respectively. Cruisers booking will also get a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries.
