Bermuda’s singers, poets and musicians took to the stage on Saturday during a special fundraising concert that will see them touring Toronto.

Chewstick’s Showcase Fundraiser was held in anticipation of next week’s CHEWronto Tour featuring six artists who were chosen to perform through an audition process.

The concert featured everything from reggae and rap to soul and the spoken word.

The artists who were chosen for the tour were Dewhurst, Imari, Kombat, Ramon Clarke, Rajiv Mallory and Sharia Bean.

Chewstick is still actively fundraising and there will be another chance to see the artists perform this Saturday night from 8pm at the Neo Griot Lounge on the corner of Court & Elliot St.)

Tickets are $15.
