Why not get your creative and gastric juices flowing at the same time by attending the city wide gallery and restaurant tour Art in the Dark?
Or perhaps a day at the park for the whole family taking in Bermuda’s performers and artists takes your fancy. The City of Hamilton has organized two cultural events this month as part of its Four Seasons Festivals taking place throughout the year.
Art in the Dark on May 12 invites people to ‘step out for art and stay for dinner’. Visitors can view and purchase some of the island’s finest art followed by by dinner at participating restaurants where the works are being displayed. The event takes place from 5pm to 8pm and some restaurants will offer discounts.
Art in the Park takes place all day at Par-la-Ville Park on May 15 from 12 noon. There will be singers and musicians performing as well as artists on site creating and selling art. A host of vendors will be on site including the promising young artist Nashon Hollis and Rene Hill’s crochet scarves. There will be an outdoor café called Picasso set up especially for the day. Kaleidoscope and Daisy & Mac have also joined forces to teach children art classes on the day.
