WEDNESDAY, NOV. 14: The Azamara Quest cruise ship has cancelled her planned trip to Bermuda this week.

The liner was scheduled to come into Hamilton tomorrow for a day’s stay before heading off to Miami.

But the ship’s owners have made the decision to extend her period in dry dock over in Europe.

The Grand Princess, however, will be arriving at the West End of the island today from the Azores.

She is due to arrive in Dockyard at 8am and will leave later today bound for Fort Lauderdale.

Her departure and the Azamara Quest’s cancellation mean there is now just one more cruise call in 2012.

Princess

The Pacific Princess will signal the end of the year’s schedule when she comes alongside in Hamilton on Monday morning.

The liner originated in Funchal, Madeira and is on her way to Fort Lauderdale.

Meanwhile all three container ships are in this week.

The Oleander arrived as per schedule on Monday and set off back across the Atlantic to New Jersey yesterday.

The Bermuda Islander has been forced to miss a trip to get back on schedule after Hurricane Sandy.

She arrived on Monday and will be in town until Thursday when she heads back to the US.

She will be back on her normal Thursday morning arrival time next week.

And finally the Somers Isles is due into port today from Florida and will head back to Fernandina Beach tomorrow.
