100 Taxi drivers shown appreciation

Elbow Beach this week honoured taxi drivers who play an important role in Bermuda’s tourism and hospitality business. 

Just under 100 drivers attended a Taxi Appreciation Event at the hotel on Tuesday and were treated to a continental breakfast in the hotel’s car park.

Ed Burns, owner’s representative, Elbow Beach, said: “It was a pleasure to meet all the taxi drivers on Tuesday. They are our extended sales partners and we really appreciate everything they do for us. It was a perfect opportunity to connect with them.”
