More than 2,000 people took part in today’s Catlin End-to-End. The walkers going the distance, got underway at 7am from St George’s while the cyclists started at 10am. Swimmers and paddle-boarders also took part to raise funds for six charities.
Several of the cyclists dressed up in costumes such as Star Wars characters or as pirates. Many of the walkers wore sombreros.
Monies raised by the Catlin End-to-End will go towards supporting the Adult Education School, the Bermuda School of Music, the Centre Against Abuse, The Family Centre, Friends of Hospice, Meals on Wheels, the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Open Airways, St. John’s Ambulance, Westmeath Residential and Nursing Care Home, and the Catlin Marine Grant.
